My background in medicine and osteopathy has led me to use my experiences in various therapeutic approaches based on each client’s needs. My education includes a Medical Degree (MD), Diploma Osteopathic Manuel Practitioner (DOMP) specializing in craniosacral therapy and a Master of Arts Counselling Psychotherapy (MACP). My objective, utilizing my extensive knowledge of the body both inside and out, is to assist you in developing self-assurance and awareness to acquire a richer and more fulfilling way of focusing on personal growth. As a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) based in Toronto, I offer counselling for individuals and couples from all walks of life. My approach is influenced by several therapeutic orientations, including CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Existential Therapy, allowing me to provide a personalized and effective treatment for each client.

A little about me: I was born in Denmark, spent my formative years in Alberta, and now live in Toronto. I love them all. My partner and I have two Whippets, an Italian Greyhound, a white cat and a calico cat. Needless to say that the soft centre of my heart beats for animals. Also, I love country music, opera, running, reading, and Indian food - but not all at the same time.

Justin La Rose earned a Masters in Clinical Psychology at the Adler Graduate Professional School. He completed his clinical training at the McMaster Student Wellness Clinic, the Glendon Counselling Services at York University and an Outpatient Clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton. He has previously served as a staff psychotherapist at York University. Justin provides therapy to adolescents, adults, and couples. His background and training have shaped his interest in promoting improved psychological health, interpersonal functioning and wellness.
